Scratchpad

The floating Scratchpad is available whenever you are editing a record, providing a temporary area for moving and editing text (text is not stored). For example, it can be used to cut and paste information between fields in a record.

To copy text from the Scratchpad to a field, click on the Scratched button:

Copy and paste text to/from Scratchpad to other fields, by either:

• Pressing: Ctrl-A (to select all text); Ctrl-C (to copy selected text); Ctrl-V to paste text.
• Dragging and dropping text.
