Manage | Administration

Note. Your access rights to the various options is based on your administrative privileges (see Security Model). The database creator is automatically the database Owner (Owners have unique rights) and therefore also an Administrator (in the Database MAnagers group). Other users can be given administrative rights by the Owner (see Access). If you can see the Administration options then you have the correct permissions.

The Administration section has a number of administration options:

  • Advanced Functions and Utilities. This option opens the Database Administration Switchboard, where you can carry out various database administrative tasks.
  • Create Data Archive Package. This options lets you create a complete backup copy of your database content.
  • Build Tablet App. This is specific to FAIMS (Field Acquired Information Management System: http://fedarch.org).
