View & Analyse Data

You can view/analyse the content of selected records via a number of different views via the Viewer pane. Each tab on this pane represents a different view of your data. This includes record details, map & timeline, network diagrams, and user-defined reports.

Note. If the Viewer pane is not visible, click on the small arrow in the right-hand bar of the Results pane.

Heurist provides the following standard views:

• Record. This provides a view of the shared and private data stored in a single record. (Data for the first record selected is shown only).
• Map. This shows map and timeline data if available for one or more records (i.e. records contain at least one field of type Map and/or Date/Temporal).
• Report. This shows report details for one or more records, based on the selected, predefined report template. You can define 'Smarty' reports using Heurist's reporting feature.
• Network This shows a 'Network Diagram' view of your data.

Note. As Heurist evolves, additional views may be added to the Viewer.

To edit the record, click on the record's Edit icon, from the Search Results pane:

Note.  If you are not an owner of this record the edit option will be disabled. You can still view the edit dialog but the background will have a 'Non-editable' watermark.

To view the record in a separate window, click the View icon:
