Short description
C T Turner was working at the Adelaide Hospital at the time he enlisted. He was posted to the 2 AGH (Australian General Hospital). he was appointed Regimental Medical Officer to the newly formed 1st Pioneer Battalion in Egypt in 1916.He then served in France for the remainder of the war.
Turner continued in the Militia after World War I.
He enlisted in World War II at Mt. Gambier and was called up for full-time duty in 1942. After that war ended, he continued to serve in the Australian Army Medical Corps Reserve.
