After retiring in 1936 from family business Young Brothers, 2nd Lieutenant Young bought pastoral property at Zintara, Trawool, Victoria. In a newsarticle, he is refered to as Ivan Sinclair Young of Zintara, Trawool, grazier.  He relocated to Melbourne prior to 1949.
