Short description
It is not clear exactly when H C C Rennie joined the RAMC as a Lieutenant with the 52nd. Field Ambulance as well as SN Officer in the British Army with various unspecified British units. He served in France in the trenches and unfortunately, developed tuberculosis which was to plague him for the rest of his life.
He was given the rank of Honorary Captain on 15 May, 1918.
