Mr Wheaton probably took up farming at his father's farm from the time he graduated in 1911. After the war he returned to the family farm and continued farming. in 1934, he applied to transfer the brand (cattle) from his father's name to his name. Upon his death in 1986, he was buried in Redhill Cemetry. One can assume that he was a farming at Redhil until his retirement.l
