Mr Hunter was a pastoralist farming growing wheat and raising sheep in WA throughout his life. He was licensed to grow 100 acres of wheat, had 800 sheep (and pigs as a sideline). He farmed sheep for meat and wool. In 1953, he owed Pd7,616 in tax.
