After war service, E W Griffiths returned to South Australia where he took up a position as Medical Officer at Keswick Hospital. Following the termination of this appointment in April 1918, he resumed his private Medical Practice.
He moved to Ryde, NSW in 1933 and was an Honorary medical Officer at Ryde District Hospital.
