F Goldsmith was a resident Physician and Surgeon at Adelaide Hospital in 1890. He then had private practices in Balhannah, Port Wakefield and Hindmarsh. he was in the AAMC Reserve in 1903 then beame District Registrar for the Port of Darwin in 1904. He studied Tropical Diseases in N.T. and New Guinea and became Federal Medical Officer.
