Short description
Mr Griffiths was placed in 27th F.A. Reinforcement upon enlisting but later transferred to serve in Unit 37th Bty, 10th Field Artillery Brigade. He was wounded in action in August1918, France, and suffered from shell shock and deafness. He rejoined the troop 2 months later but injured his right hand. The wound never healed properly and he was invalided due to the infection on his right hand. He returned to Australia and was discharged from duty on 14/3/19 reason being MEDICALLY UNFIT NOT DUE TO MISCONDUCT.
