Short description
C.F. Drew travelled to England from Australia after the declaration of war in 1914. He joined the RAMC as a Captain in 1915 and served in Advanced Dressing Stations in France for most of the war period. However, when serving on the battle line, he acted as a member of one of the Guards Divisions.He later attained the rank of Major and was mentioned in Despatches in 1917.
