LEGGE, GEORGE FERGUSON. 1916.

2.2.18, Pte. 1st G.S. rfts.; sailed 21.3.18; France, to 22nd Btn., 18.8.18; served as machine gunner.
During the last battle of the Australian Infantry in France he was wounded while with a Lewis gun team, and was afterwards killed by a bullet through the head on 4th October 1918 while bandaging another man, near Geneve, between Beaurevoir and Montbrehain.
