Pack Wireless Signal Troop; Basrah March 19161 in Kut Relief Exped.; Baghdad campaign after fall of Kut; furlough to India, and returned to Baghdad August 1917; there attd. as wireless operator to a Russian Cossack force, and later went with these to Persia; remained in Kermanshah during winter of 1917-8 and early in 1918 joined up with Russo-British advance party of Dunsterforce, and with them ultimately
reached Baku; retired through Persia, and reached Baghdad a few days before Xmas 1918. Demob. 3.6.19.
