Sailed 12.5.15, and enlisted in London as Lieut. R.A.M.C., attached 64th Fld. Amh., 15th Durham L.I., July 1915; after short training at Eastbourne went to France, was at Armentieres during its bombardment, and afterwards on the Somme; Capt. July 1916.
He was killed by a shell at Fliers on 16th September 1916 while attending to the wounded.
