Ballarat Coll. and Melb. Pharmacy Coll.; M.Sc.; Demonstrator in Geology; held a position in the Geological Dept. of the Public Library. Enlisted as Pte. in April 1915; went through Duntroon Officers' School, and was commissioned on formation of 37th Btn.; sailed 3.6.16, Lieut. 37th Btn.; Capt. 3.6. 17; wounded 4.10.17. Awarded D.S.O.; Despatches 16.3.19.
Wounded in action near Roisel on 8th September 1918, and died of his wounds the same day.
