STRETCH, THOMAS NOEL HEATH. 1914.
Armidale School (N.S.W.), Geelong C.E.G.S., and Brighton G.S.;
Trinity; 1st year Art s; represented College in rowing, cricket, and football. 17.8.14; sailed 21.10.14, Sgt. 5th Btn. On 5th April 1915 was transferred to B.E.F. and commissioned in A.S.C., but later attd. 165th Coy. M.G.
Corps; promoted Lieut. Awarded M.C. 31.7.17, Ypres Salient, and bar to M.C. 22.9.17.
He was shot by a sniper on 25th March 1918 while on duty as officer of the day.
