M.B., Ch.M.; F.R.C.S. (Edin.), F.R.A.C.S. : Major, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., England and France. Enlisting about October, 1915, and sailing 20th February, 1917, was at Epsom War Hospital, later joining 1st Australian Field Ambulance on the Somme and becoming M.O. 1st Divisional Field Artillery and A.A.S.C. Then transferring to 2nd A.F.Amb., was second in command and for a time Acting O.C. and D.A.D.M.S. 1st Division and subsequently of Amalgamated Divisions during demobilisation in Belgium. Supervised medical evacuation from Charleroi and was last M.O. to leave, returning about July, 1920. Hon. Consultant Urologist, Hospital for Sick Children, Brisbane. Early education at Bowen House and Brisbane Grammar Schools. Later at St. Andrew's College.
