M.B., Ch.M., Diploma in Psychiatry : Corporal, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Mobilised 29th September, 1914, was transferred to A.I.F. 19th January, 1916, and, sailing 9th November, joined unit in France. Served until the end of the War, although sick in July, 1917, and in January and May, 1918, returning in January, 1920, after three months' non-military employment. Early education at Neutral Bay Superior Public and Sydney Church of England Grammar Schools. Later at University Technical College, London.
