M.B., Ch.M., F.R.C.S. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting in October, 1914, as lieutenant in Infantry, was forced to complete Medical course. Re-enlisting 18th July, 1916, and sailing in November, two days after completing course, was seconded to R.A.M.C. at 14th Base Hospital, Wimereux. Served with 51st Battn. at Bullecourt, where wounded in April, 1917, and with 146th at Messines, where wounded again in June, returning to Australia in March, 1918.
