First woman attached to RAMC sent to France and given charge of a laboratory. Began work at Rouen, moved later to Etaples. Worked at No. 46 hospital but also dealt with specimens from No. 51 hospital (venereal disease). Little's rank should have been Major, but women were not promoted above Captain at this time.
