M.B., Ch.M.; F.R.I.P.H. (Lond.) : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France and England. Enlisting in November, 1915, and sailing 1st May, 1916, as R.M.O. 35th Battn., remained with it till 1st June, 1917, when injured at Messines and evacuated to hospital. Served with 9th Australian Field Ambulance from 9th August to 20th September, 1st Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Southall, till 7th November, 1918, and until demobilisation. A.M.F.: R.M.O. 13th Battery, R.A.G.A., 35th Battn. and 39th Coy., Engineers, 1921-30. Early education at Sydney Grammar School.
