Eng. I : Lieutenant, 10th and 11th Bdes., A.F.A. and 7th A.L.H. Regt., A.I.F., Gallipoli and France. Enlisting 3rd March, 1915, and sailing 15th June with 6th Reinforcements 7th A.L.H. Regt., joined regt. at Gallipoli 2nd October. Transferring in Egypt to 10th Field Artillery Brigade 26th March, 1916, and crossing to France, served at Fleurbaix, Somme, Bullecourt sector and Ypres, and with 11th at Messines from 9th March, 1918, till death. Killed in Action, Millencourt, 31st March, 1918, and buried in Millencourt Communal Cemetery Extension. Early education at Sydney Church of England Grammar School.
