LL.B. : Lieutenant, 2nd Battn. A.I.F., France. Enlisting 18th January, 1916, and sailing in September with Field Artillery, was at Officers Training School, Tidworth, after recovery from sickness and, crossing to France to 2nd Battn. 25th April, 1917, fought at Bullecourt, winning his commission  On the Field Wounded at Hooge 16th September and promoted lieutenant during convalescence in England. Returned to France in March, 1918, and served till death. Killed in Action, near Amiens, 11th April, 1918, and buried in St. Pierre Cemetery, Amiens. Early education at Sydney Church of England Grammar School.  An only son.
