M.B. : Major, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and Palestine. Enlisting in September, 1915, and sailing 10th November, was attached to Remount units till 3rd December, 1916, and then joined 1st A.L.H. Field Ambulance, being R.M.O. 2nd A.L.H. Regt. from 9th February, 1917. Served at No. 14 Australian General Hospital, Port Said, from 20th December, returning to ambulances and remaining on garrison duty till demobilisation. Promoted major, 1st July, 1918 Principal Medical Officer, Education Dept., N.S.W., 1931-. Early education at Rylstone Public School.
