Med. I l l : Lieutenant, R.F.C., B.E.F., France; also A.A.M.C., A.I.F., England. Enlisting 16th August, 1915, in A.A.M.C. and sailing with 16th Reinforcements No. 2 Australian General Hospital, joined No. 2 Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Southall, 10th January, 1917. Discharged 23rd March to complete medical studies but joined R.F.C. as second-lieutenant 12th August and served till death.Killed in Action by enemy anti-aircraft gun fire, France, 20th May, 1918, and buried in Auloyne Communal Cemetery.
