Enlisting 13th July, 1916, served at No. 1 Australian General Hospital, Rouen, from 27th January, 1917, and 3rd Australian Casualty Clearing Station from 18th April. Joined 1st Australian Field, Ambulance 14th October and returned 10th January, 1918. Died of Illness due to War Service, Sydney, 17th September, 1923. Early education at Ulster Provisional School. Later at Queen's College, Belfast.
