LL.B. : Lieutenant, R.A.F., Egypt. After obtaining Pilot's Certificate at N.S.W. Aviation School, Richmond, and sailing 2nd March, 1918, enlisted in R.A.F. in Egypt 4th April. Attending No. 3 Cadet Wing and School of Aeronautics, Armament School, 20th and 19th Training Depot Stations, was gazetted second-lieutenant 2nd October and attached during Rebellion in April and May, 1919, to Light Armed Car Patrol in Cairo, returning to Australia in July. Early education at The King's and Sydney Church of England Grammar Schools.
