M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France, England and Germany. Enlisting 8th February, 1918, and sailing 8th May, was R.M.O. Pioneers' Camp, Sutton Veny, and, crossing to France, was transferred on loan to B.E.F. in September, attached to 57th Field Ambulance, and then R.M.O. 75th Brigade, R.F. Artillery, until the Armistice. Rejoining A.I.F., went to No. 1 Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Harefield, and in January, 1919, was appointed R.M.O. Australian Camp, Verne Citadel, Weymouth. Then was sent to Australian Casualty Clearing Station in Euskirchen, Germany, returning to England in May and going on non-military employment prior to demobilisation.
