M M., Pharmacy : Private, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 22nd June, 1915, and sailing 18th December with reinforcements to Auxiliary Hospital, joined 2nd Australian Field Ambulance 3rd August, 1916, and was at Pozieres, Somme, Lagnicourt and Ypres, where attached to 102nd Howitzer Battery and, although wounded 29th July, 1917, served till death. Killed in Action, Ypres, 20th October, 1917, and buried in The Huts Cemetery, Dickebusch. Early education at Christ Church St. Laurence and Fort St. High Schools. "Our son."
