M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, R.A.M.C., B.E.F., France. Being in England before the outbreak of War, enlisted and served in the British Army as M.O., and was invalided to Australia owing to shellshock. Going again to England, was accepted for two years service with 18th Field Ambulance, and on completion returned to Australia. Early education at Sydney Grammar School.
