M.B., Ch.M., D.P.H.R.C.P.S. : Captain, R.A.M.C., B.E.F., England and France. Enlisting in London in 1914, served as M.O., Connaught Hospital, Aldershot, then at No. 7 General Hospital, Malassise, near St. Omer, and later as relieving M.O. to Deccan Horse on the Somme in 1916, Air Force and other units. Invalided to No. 3 London General Hospital, but, returning to the Front on recovery, served till death. Promoted captain, 1st December, 1915. Killed in Action, near Lebucquiere, Bapaume, 30th November, 1917, while M.O. to 58th Heavy Artillery Group, and buried in Lebucquiere Communal Cemetery Extension. Early education at Sydney Grammar School. Later at St. Andrew''s College.
