M.B., Ch.M.; F.R.C.S. (Edin.), L.R.C.P., M.R.C.S., Diploma in Radiology : Major, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt, France and England. Enlisting 26th August, 1914, was attached to 2nd Battn. but appointed in November to 7th A.L.H. Regt., sailing with it 20th December. Transferred to No. 1 Australian General Hospital, Cairo, 16th April, 1915, to No. 2 Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Heliopolis, 1st January, 1916, and to Australian Casualty Clearing Station 21st March, crossing with it to France. Appointed R.M.O. 24th Battn. 12th August, invalided 13th September, joined 6th Australian Field Ambulance, 15th October, and again invalided to hospital 24th December and thence to Australia, arriving in March, 1917. Promoted major, 1st January, 1916. A.M.F. : Captain, A.A.M.C., 26th May, 1908.
