M.B., Ch.M., D.P.H. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 1st March, 1916, after acting as R.M.O. at Dubbo and S.M.O. at Cootamundra Camps, and sailing with A.A.M.C. Reinforcements 29th July, served with 15th Australian Field Ambulance from 3rd October, being R.M.O. 59th Battn. on the Somme in October and November. Transferred to 14th A.F.Amb. 7th May, 1917, and to No. 1 Australian Convalescent Depot, returning in January, 1920, after five months as House Surgeon Royal Infirmary, Bradford. A.M.F. : O.C. 1st Field Hygiene Section, 1932-34. Assistant Director of Hygiene and District Base, 1934-. Early education at Sydney High School. Later at St. Andrew''s College.
