After serving as Surgeon, troopship iEneas from 20th December, 1915, enlisted in London in February, 1916, and was in France till March, 1917, when invalided. Rejoining Naval Transport Service in June, served as Surgeon, Demosthenes , till January, 1918, returning to Australia privately in June. Early education at Sydney Grammar School.
