L.R.C.P. & L.R.C.S. (Edin.), L.R.F.P. & S. (Glas.), Med. V : Captain, R.A.M.C., Mesopotamia, Palestine and Egypt. Enlisting in London in May, 1917, was gazetted lieutenant 1st June and served in Mesopotamia as M.O. to field ambulances and battns. of 3rd Indian Division in Tigris section for ten months and then on Palestine Front for six months. Later was M.O. Base Depot, Sidi Bishi, Alexandria, for four months and on ambulance transport Assaye in the Mediterranean for ten months till December, 1919. Early education at Sydney High School.
