Econ. I : Private, 18th Battn., A.I.F., Gallipoli. Enlisting 3rd June, 1915, and sailing on 25th, landed at Anzac Cove 2ist August. Killed in Action, during the gallant charge at Chocolate Hill— Hill 60—22nd August, 1915, less than three months after enlisting, aged 18. Commemorated in Lone Pine Memorial. Early education at St. Aloysius'' College, Fort St. High and Sydney Grammar Schools.
