B.Ec. : Corporal, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Gallipoli, England and France. Enlisting 1st May, 1915, and sailing on 15th, was at No. 3 Australian General Hospital, Lemnos, from June to 31st August, when invalided to England and thence to Australia, arriving in December. Re-Enlisting 22nd March, 1916, and sailing 23rd June, served at No. 1 Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Harefield, till February, 1917. Then crossing to France, joined 6th Australian Field Ambulance and remained with it till demobilisation although wounded at Ypres, 4th October, 1917, and gassed at Villers-Bretonneux, 23rd May, 1918, and at Hamel, 4th July. Member of Teachers'' College.
