B.A., Law II : Private, 2nd South African Infantry Regiment, France. Enlisting in South Africa 25th August, 1915, and sailing 27th September, crossed to France and served with regiment till death. Killed in Action, 12th February, 1917, and buried in Brown''s Copse Cemetery, Roeux. President, Evening Students' Association. Early education at Newcastle Public and East Maitland High Schools.
