Short description
H L Bowering's Occupation was given as Student at the time of his enlistment. His next of kin was his father, Richard Bowering, of Prospect. On his Attestation form it is noted that he had suffered in the past from consumption or a chronic cough.
He embarked from Australia on 6 August 1918 on SS Gaika.
He served as a Gunner with 1st - 6th (S.A.) Reinforcements.
After being discharged from service in 1919 he returned to Australia, disembarking on 8 May 1919.
