CAYGILL, LEONARD MOOD. 1915.
Shepparton Agric. H.S.; Queen's; 2nd year Engineering.
February 1916; sailed October 1916; and join ed 8th F.C.E. as Spr. in France in April 1917. He was wounded on 26th October 1917, and evacuated to 22nd G.H., Camieres, where he died as a result of his injuries on 7th December 1917. He was buried at Etaples.

Early in 1916, Pte. 58th Btn. rfts.; sailed 1.8.16; to 59th Btn. September 1916; to France November 1916; Cpl. 1916; A/Sgt. 1917; through Somme campaign 1917; some months in England, then back to France April 1918.
Killed in action in the northern sector of the Battle of Hamel on 4th July 1918.
