Wangaratta H.S. and Melb. H.S.; 2nd year Elec. Engineering; lacrosse team.
28.7.15, Dvr. 4th F.A.B.; sailed 18.11.15; three months in Egypt, then to France, amongst the first of the A.I.F. to land in France; transf. A.F.C. 3.5.17, and went to England to train; commissioned 15.10.17, and joined 67th Sqdn. in Egypt, taking part in several engagements in Palesrine; Lieut. 15.1.18; returned to England in May to specialise in flying fast scouts; to No. 4 fighting Sqdn. in France July 1918; credited with bringing down several enemy planes.
Killed in action in a fight against great odds over Ath, near Tournai, on 29th October 1918.
