Horton Coll., Ross, Tas.; former student of Law; admitted to practise as solicitor.
Enlisted at Geraldton, W.A. , February 1915, Pte. 2nd rfts. 28th Btn.; sailed in the middle of 1915; served in Egypt and Gallipoli; wounded on Gallipoli, and in hospital at Mudros; later transf. for duty at Heliopolis, and contracted pneumonia, of which he died in Ghezireh Hospital, Cairo, on 16th February 1916.
