Arts and Eng. : Captain, 3rd Battn. (attached 2nd Battn.), Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, B.E.F., France. After service with Malay States and Singapore Volunteer Rifles, enlisted at Singapore early in 1915 and, returning to England, was commissioned 10th May, crossing to France in October and serving till death. Promoted captain, 6th November, 1915. Killed in Action, Beaumont-Hamel, 15th November, 1916, and buried in Munich Trench British Cemetery, Beaumont-Hamel. Member of St. Paul's College.
