Diploma in Military Science : Captain, Royal Welsh Fusiliers, B.E.F., France. Enlisting in England, was commissioned to Gloucester Regiment 26th February, 1916, and transferred to Fusiliers as lieutenant 19th June, serving with them in France till death. Promoted captain and company commander 25th December, 1916. Mentioned in Despatches. Died of Wounds, France, 18th February, 1917. A.M.F. : Captain.
