Enlisting in London in April, 1915, was sick in Malta Hospital for five weeks and then served as Surgeon Specialist, 23rd Stationary Hospital, Indian Expeditionary Force (D), in 1916, returning to Australia ill in July. Hon. Consultant for Radium, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Early education at St. Joseph's and St. Aloysius' Colleges.
