Enlisting 28th January, 1918, and sailing 8th May, joined 7th Australian Field Ambulance in France 29th October and served till demobilisation, though wounded at Roisel in October and at Mazenheim 4th November. Early education at Prince Alfred College, Adelaide. Later at St. Andrew's College, and Guy's and Middlesex Hospitals.
