M.B., Ch.M., D.O.M.S. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and Palestine. Enlisting in April, 1917, and sailing 3rd September, was with 4th A.L.H. Field Ambulance at Tel-el-Fara in October, also at Beersheba and then R.M.O. n th A.L.H. Regt. at Sheria. On returning to ambulance, became R.M.O. 4th A.L.H. Regt. in December, taking part in Jerusalem Campaign and serving till injured at Moascar, returning to Australia in June, 1918. Early education at Bedales School, Petersfield, England. Later at St. Andrew's College with one year in Arts.
