M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France and England. Enlisting 1st March, 1917, and sailing in May, served as Adjutant, A.A.M.C. Training Depot, Parkhouse, and later as M.O. No. 1 Australian General Hospital, Rouen. In 1918 joined 10th Australian Field Ambulance, becoming R.M.O. 8th Field Artillery Brigade, and later M.O., Australian Dermatological Hospital, Bulford, till demobilisation. Early education at Sydney Grammar School.
