M.B. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Egypt and Palestine. Enlisting in 1916 and sailing in February, 1917, served in Sinai and Palestine as M.O., Anzac Division Field and Signal Squadrons and with 1st and 4th A.L.H. Field Ambulances. Later was with H.Q., Desert Mounted Column in Syria and, after the Armistice, at A.I.F. H.Q., Cairo, collating material for Medical History of A.I.F. in Egypt, returning in 1920. Early education at Forbes District School. Later at St. Andrew's College.
